Club 8 is a Swedish pop duo formed in 1995 by Karolina Komstedt and Johan Angergård. Their seventh album 'THE PEOPLE'S RECORD' will be released on May 12th 2010.

Club 8 has travelled to Brazil for inspiration, bought records made in the '70s in Western Africa, used a percussion player from Cuba and hooked up with producer Jari Haapalainen (The Concretes, Camera Obscura, Ed Harcourt). The result is a unique mix of Swedish pop melodies and African rhythms - undoubtedly one of the most unique, captivating and catchiest pop records of the year!
