Captain Sensible was a founding member of legendary punk band The Damned. Whilst still a member of The Damned in 1982 he signed a solo deal with A&M Records. In June 1982, he reached number 1 in the UK with a cover of Roger’s and Hammerstein’s Happy Talk from the musical South Pacific. This is the first time this album has been released on CD in the UK.
It also includes the follow up hit singles Wot and Croydon. This welcome reissue includes 6 bonus tracks - including bsides (one of which Damned On 45 is a 7 minute medley of Damned/Captain tracks) and a previously unreleased track from The Captain’s own archives.
