Named (with a slight misspelling) after a North Belfast car dealership, Charles Hurts are cut from the same kind of cloth as local luminaries (and CF buddies) Girls Names and Sea Pinks, drawing on similar influences (80s new wave, 60s garage, shoegaze) but with their own distinctive sound honed around the dark romanticism of main guy Philip Quinn’s songs and guitar playing. CF is very pleased to present this debut eight song mini-album (running to 25 minutes) in a very limited edition of 100 black cassettes.
