With influences ranging from French girlpop of the 60's, German cabaret, disco and 80's electropop, not to mention the omnipresent ghost of Serge Gainsbourg. In October of 2001 Stereo Total performed live at London's premier alternative nightclub Trash. Trash have now released their first compilation album "Trash Companion #1" on Palare/End Recordings. This features the live version of Stereo Total's "Wir Tanzen Im 4-Eck" recorded at the club along with other live tracks from the likes of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gonzales and Peaches.
