Afternoon Naps are a modern pop group from the rather unsunny shores of Cleveland, Ohio. Their songs are short, sweet, and to the point, with not many breaking the three minute mark. Who needs all that repetition in their lives anyway? Formed in 2006, this five piece group is lead by the duo of songwriter Thomas Dechristofaro and arranger Leia Hohenfeld. Since then, they've been trying their best to make fun, unpretentious music that's also literate and thoughtfully orchestrated. The jingle-jangle of The Smiths, Brian Wilson, and the Left Banke are all proudly on display inside their tiny teenage symphonies.
