YELLOW MELODIES (the) : Surprise
Yellow Melodies (the)-THE YELLOW MELODIES start in Murcia (Spain) at the end of the 90s. Since then, the band has released 5 albums ('Repertorio B' -Pussycats, 1998-; 'High' -Jabalina, 2000-; 'Surprise' -Jabalina, 2002-; 'The championship cup' -Clifford, 2008- and 'New identities' -Discos Imprescindibles, 2010-), and a huge amount of demos and songs in several compilations all around the world.
-They have played live over 100 times, supporting bands such as EMMA POLLOCK (ex-THE DELGADOS), or THE PRIMARY 5 (ex-TEENAGE FANCLUB). They have also taken part in some of the most important Spanish festivals like Contempopranea, Lemon Pop,...
-They have just released their new album, called 'New identities' and 2 vinyl singles (a 10'' and a 7'') were previously released. They have also recorded some videoclips: "Believe" and "The championship cup", directed by Martin Ellerbeck; "I'll never understand", by Kinema; and "Mr. Sand and Mrs. Sea" and the recent “New identities”, by Faustino Fdez, who won the prize for the best videoclip in the indie music POP-EYE prizes.
