Utah Rangers are a Swedish duo. Old Statistics is a compilation of sorts containing recordings made in 2006 and 2007 taken from their self released CDR's.The music is reminiscent of some of the indie/dance crossover bands from the early 1990's mixed with sounds that their contemporaries in Sweden make. These include The Strip Squad, Suburban Kids With Biblical Names and the Tough Alliance to name but a few.It's the swirl of guitars, drums, synths and vocals that live life in the fast lane that give these songs a sense of excitement and drive. Over the 12 minutes here these songs take you on an exhausting ride through beats and melodies with barely time for the listener to pause for breath between each one before play is pressed again. An audio adrenaline rush!
